I think there was too much attention paid to philosophical / theoretical tangents and the school-related events. Content that would have been more interesting was passed through quickly, such as his relationship with Sonya and the series of anonymous women. The title is misleading, as cocaine is actually a small part of the story. There is some crativity evident in the ending, to be fair.
I think this is a decnt read, but the mystery of the author overshadows the entertainment value of the novel.
